The Malvern Hills GeoCentre, featuring Cafe H2O, is a new visitor information centre with a lovely cafe and stunning views. Situated on West of the Hills just over the Wyche Cutting on the right, there is a large, free car park behind the building, disabled access, baby changing/high chairs and free wifi are available.
The GeoCentre is the official visitor centre for the Geopark Way and has lots of information about the area's geology, archeology, water, history, plants, animals and walks. The information has been pulled together with the partner organisations:
Earth Heritage Trust
Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
Malvern Hills Conservators
Malvern Hills District Council
Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service,
Malvern Spa Association
Malvern Walking Festival
Most information is on ipads and a series of wall maps to show different aspects of the area. Events and roadshows about geology or archeology are held at the Centre on some weekends.
The cafe serves home made light lunches, drinks and cake. Opening times are the same all year:
Every day except Wenesdays (closed on Wednesdays): 9:30am - 4:30pm
