Mountain biking on and around the hills is another popular pastime for both locals and visitors alike.  From strenuous off-road hill climbs, fast free-wheeling descents and relatively leisurely sightseeing between villages on the flat, the area has something to offer most enthusiasts.

The Malvern Hills have also been the inspiration and training ground for some of the UK's top mountain biking sportsmen and women. For example, Malvern's Liam Killeen who won the British Mountain Biking National Championship 5 years in a row from 2008 to 2012. He also represented England in the 2006 Commonwealth Games as well as Team GB in the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games. Malvern's Tracey Moseley is a Professional Downhill Mountain Biker racing for the Trek World Racing Team.  She also has an impressive series of titles to her name, including winner of the World Championships in 2010.

There are a number of good resources to help you plan your trip.  The Malvern Hills Trust have prepared a cylcling code of conduct to help make sure the hills can be enjoyed by everyone, including ramblers, dog walkers, horse riders and cyclists.
