Plants to look out for in the Summer

During the summer months the canopy of leaves cuts out much of the light in the uncoppiced areas of Park Wood. The bluebell seed heads can be seen and the lush wild garlic leaves turn yellow and die away.  In the area which has been cleared to form a wildflower glade towards the top of the wood, a growing area of foxgloves can be seen.
